The Meaning of Your Senior Ring

Circling the clear, crisp, classic lettering “San Angelo Central” is the rope symbolizing the spirit of West Texas.  A wide selection of stones to satisfy your own tastes and heraldic symbolism.

Towering over the shield, laurel leaves and your graduation year.  At the top of the shield, the lamp, symbol of intellectual and spiritual enlightenment.  Below the lamp, on the right, the lyre, symbolizing achievement in the fine arts, music, etc.  On the left, the open book symbol of general knowledge.  Underneath the book is the symbol representing progress of science in the space age.  To its right is the winged foot, symbol for athletic power.

Emblazoned on this side of the ring is the Fighting Bobcat, native of this area and your school mascot.  Below the Bobcat is the V-Line, victory lettering.  Above the bold block lettering of the year of your graduation, laurel leaves, an emblem of victory and distinction.
