After graduating from ASU, I moved to Cleburne to teach Physical Education and Health at Cleburne High School. I received my masters degree from Tarleton State University and eventually became the Department Head. Forty one years later I retired.
During those 41 years I got married and had a son. He graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Landscape Architecture, then got married and blessed us with a great daughter-in-law and two precious grandsons. We are lucky that they live in Cleburne so that we are able to enjoy their school, band, and soccer activities.
My husband of forty four years and I have traveled quite a bit in the US and overseas, including ten countries in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and of course, Canada and Mexico.
We still live in Cleburne and are active in Cowtown Vettes, a Corvette Club in Ft. Worth. My husband has aways wanted a Vette, and once I told he could get one, we ended up with three. One for shows, one as a daily driver, and one for Autocross. It keeps us busy.
