I have lived in the Austin area for the past 34 years. (As many of you know, it's so weird when you pass that mark of living elsewhere more years than the town where you were born and raised!) I live in the small southern Austin suburb of Manchaca where there's more elbow room than Austin. I taught junior high English two years in Angelo after graduating from ASU in 1970, bailed out of that and moved to Austin after discovering teaching was not the lifelong love I thought it was to be. I spent 25+ years in the recruitment business, 7 1/2 of which my husband and I worked together in ownership of a recruitment firm placing medical sales people on a national level. Afterwards, I became the recruiter for the Texas Department of Health (now Department of State Health Services). Since 2001, I have been a Civil Rights Investigator with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

I have a son, Jeremy 33, a daughter, Misty 29, and stepdauther, Teresa, 35, and two precious grandsons from her, Kevin and Cody. My husband, Wayne, and I love spending time driving around the hill country, sitting on the front porch, and spending time with the grandkids. My hobbies are scrapbooking and card making. I also love reading - mostly true crime, and a few select mystery authors. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!
