There is NO WAY that it's time to have our 40th reunion! After all, aren't we all just about 40 years old? We wish! It seems like last year that some of us were racing from school, down the hill on Knickerbocker Rd, to the field house for football practice. I remember a GREAT cookout we had down on the river at Christoval after football season was over. Lot's of bar-b-qued goat and root beer was consumed and a large time was had by all. Football games on Friday nights, keg parties on Saturday nights, fast cars that made a lot of noise, Charcoal House for a burger, and of course, we can't forget the Submarine races at the lake with that special date. What a life! Then we had to grow up and be responsible.

After high school I attended ASU for one year and majored in dating, partying, and playing spades in the Ram Room. I wasn't quite ready to grow up yet. Uncle Sam was needing some guys to go to Vietnam so I joined the Navy and spent four years on a Submarine stationed in Hawaii. After all, I did have previous Submarine experience at the lake.I figured they were not going to need many Subs in the Vietnam war and it also payed a little more. After the Navy I moved back to San Angelo and was an electrician for about 18 years. I changed careers to the sign industry and soon moved to Midland in 1984. Owning a sign company during an oil boom was nice till the bottom fell out. Then I spent nine years as a manager and sales rep for the Area Wide phone books. In 1996 I joined Aflac (you know - the Duck) and have been a District Manager for the last 10 years. In 1992 I married my VERY BEST FRIEND, Shirley, and we have now been newly weds for 14 wonderful years. We have a blended family of three sons, one daughter, three daughter-in-laws, and six beautiful grandchildren ranging from 18 months to 17 years old. God has richly blessed me with this wonder woman and a fantastic loving family. Looking forward to seeing all of you, playing a little golf, and just catching up. See ya there!
