I left Texas for graduate school and somehow never made it back.

I attended grad school at the University of Georgia and found it easier to get a job in Georgia than in Texas. Left Atlanta for Lincoln, Nebraska in l976 with a job move for my husband. I didn't want to leave Atlanta, but things seem to have worked out for me in Nebraska. I am currently on faculty at the University of Nebraska. I was surprised to see how many classmates are retired. I am not ready to retire yet; I love what I do.

Thanks to the organizing committee! I enjoyed reading the brief bios on the website and found the memory section very sobering.
