Four days after graduating I married Billy Lamb (class of '65). I spent 20 years moving and traveling with him while he was in the Army. We had 4 kids (Anita, Sherry, Michelle, and (Little) Billy). We lived in Washington, California, Texas, Alaska, Kentucky, Louisiana and Germany. We currently live in San Antonio, TX. We have 12 grand kids (which includes 3 step children) and 9 great grand kids (which includes 2 great grand kids). We love spending time with our kids and any/all the grand kids!! I worked majority of the time except for breaks when having the kids and prior to their starting school. I ended up retiring with 30 years with civil service, 6 years with DOD and 25 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs at the VA Hospital in San Antonio. I worked in Administration for 17 years as the Lead Billing Technician. The last 7 years in the Compliance Office first as an auditor and then the last 3 years I was the Deputy Compliance Officer for the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System. I retired in 2010 and since then we have traveled, spent time with our families, and I spend a lot of time doing my favorite hobby which is QUILTING! I look forward to reconnecting with former classmates at our upcoming reunion!
