Forty years; where have they gone? The first year or so after HS graduation I spent recouperating from a rather traumatic auto accident. I then attended Sul Ross SU. I doubled up on my college hours and graduated with several degrees in '70. Several years later I obtained my Masters. Also in '70, I married a guy from the area. We were married 23 years and had one beautiful daughter, who is a sexy registered nurse in Victoria, TX., with 2 beautiful teenage daughters of her own. When the western guy and I divorced, I returned to Angelo where I taught school for awhile. I then remarried an Angelo guy, Wayne Yoes. I began to revitalize my art career. I now teach some art courses for ASU. I show my paintings at various locations thoughout the west. Some shows are much more profitable than others. I complete many commissions. I have formally retired from teaching, however, sometimes I sub, I could do that everyday if I wanted. Wayne and I travel quite a bit, however, lately we have had some responsibilties here at home. All I can say, I hope the next 40 years are filled with much fun and frolic; if you were like me; I worked too hard the last 40! It's now time to sit back and enjoy!
